Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Match Kundli collects when you use the Kundli matching tool, the horoscope pages, and the Panchang calendar, and how that information is used.

Information you enter

To calculate a Kundli match or a horoscope, you may enter a date of birth, birth time, birthplace, and optionally a name. This information is sent to our calculation service solely to compute planetary positions (Moon sign, Nakshatra, Ascendant, Mars placement) and the resulting Ashtakoot Guna Milan score. We do not require an account, a login, or an email address to use any part of the site, and birth details you submit are not stored in a database or linked to your identity — each request is processed and the result returned to your browser.

Birthplace lookup

When you type a birthplace, the text you enter is sent to OpenStreetMap’s free Nominatim geocoding service to look up its coordinates, which are needed for an accurate calculation. This is a third-party service with its own privacy practices; Match Kundli does not control how Nominatim itself handles that request.

Cookies and analytics

Match Kundli may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall site traffic (for example, which pages are visited), and may in the future display advertising through third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Ad networks and analytics providers may use cookies or similar technology to serve relevant content and measure performance; you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Birth details you submit are used only to generate the report you asked for and are not shared with third parties, other than the geocoding lookup described above.

Children’s privacy

Match Kundli is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
